Anna Lena Maerz

Hello, I’m Anna Lena Maerz — a content-driven marketer passionate about digital storytelling, social media strategy, and consumer behavior across cultures.

I recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing at the University of Münster in Germany. As part of my academic journey, I spent a semester abroad at Hanyang University in Seoul, where I also completed a 9-month intensive Korean language program. During this time, I deepened my interest in Korean culture, beauty trends, and the evolving digital landscape.

Over the past year, I’ve worked part-time as the Social Media Marketing Manager at Plant Café Seoul, one of the city’s leading plant-based restaurants. I managed the brand’s Instagram presence (25K+ followers), created original content, planned campaigns, and supported both digital and offline brand growth. I also interned as a Global Content Creator at Ruminae, a K-beauty startup, where I developed short-form videos, tracked platform trends, and optimized content based on performance insights.

In addition to client work, I’ve built independent portfolio projects that showcase my creative thinking and marketing strategy skills — from campaign development to international market expansion planning. 

I'm fluent in German and English, conversational in Korean, and skilled in tools such as Canva, CapCut, Lightroom, Microsoft Office, and basic Photoshop. Outside of work, I’m passionate about skincare, fashion, and exploring culture through travel and content creation.

Currently, I’m building Seoul²Studio, a creative studio focused on connecting Korean and European brands through localization and content production.

I’m excited to bring my creativity, analytical mindset, and global perspective into new projects that connect people, ideas, and brands.
